It was previously reported that Brad Cooper had an interest and was under consideration to take on the role of Solo for Steven Soderbergh in “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”, and quite a few A-list names have already passed on the project with Brad Cooper becoming latest name to be included on that list of those uninterested. 
Colin Farrell has been working his way back into the mainstream and will undoubtedly get attention with the reboot of Total Recall and to continue that momentum he’s teaming up with Noomie Rapace in this action thriller. 
That’s a lot of big name talent to start off casting news for Simon West’s, (Con-Air), upcoming 3D movie, and get some “radar” notice from fans. It’ll be 3D and use motion capture technology to record the performances of the stars and… well, how about I let you get it from the source. 
We’re being given the opportunity to enjoy a sequel to the 1986 Tom Cruise movie Top Gun. We knew that, but what we didn’t know is anything else about the movie other than Tony Scott’s expressed interest to create a new movie in the world. Today we learn that the X-Men First Class scribes have been handed the reigns to create a script. 
Michael Bay has been a hot topic of discussion lately as rumors have circulated that he may be involved in more Transformers movies. The rumor seemed to have some credibility to it due to the fact that the source of the rumor happened to be the CEO of Hasbro himself Brian Goldner. Well, Micahel Bay is painting a completely different picture about the Transformers future. 
Somehow while in the fervor of New York Comic Con I managed to miss the announcement that Thor 2 has a release date AND and chosen a director to succeed Kenneth Branagh and her name is Patty Jenkins.
The Crow has been trying to get the ball rolling all year and it just hit another, big, roadbump on the road to production with 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo exiting production for presumably greener, and less emo, endeavors. 
Not too long ago we found out that there’d been some progress with the development of a sequel to the 2008 action movie succesful “Wanted”, but haven’t heard too much from the project in the last few months. Today we get a little confirmation that the project is still very much alive with the announcement that screen writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas have been tapped to script the sequel.
