Just a few days before shooting was set to begin, Lake Bell has left the long-awaited fourth installment in Wes Craven’s Scream series.
According to JoBlo: Just four days before filming was set to begin on SCREAM 4, actress Lake Bell was forced to drop out of the production due to scheduling conflicts. The actress posted an update on Twitter saying, “Sucks: Scheduling conflicts with my current gig means I cant do #Scream4! (Hey horror bloggers, I know who the killer is…)” Her “current gig” is the untitled Natalie Portman/Ashton Kutcher comedy (formerly titled F*CKBUDDIES) that Ivan Reitman is directing for Paramount. Well, this is a shame, but not a tragedy. To me, Bell’s definitely some eye candy, and probably a decent enough actress (I’ve only heard her voice acting in the video game Prototype), but she’s definitely replaceable. Hopefully Scream 4 will stay on schedule and under budget despite these unforseen circumstances. Source: Movie Blog
