The Oscars last night were not nearly as exciting as I would have hoped. I spent it online Ustreaming the event and hanging out with the International Friends in a live show. I might do that again sometime.

With the Oscars coming this weekend, everyone is looking to see who will be honoured at the industry’s most glamourous event! Every category has its short list and betting and discussion is taking place over each and every one of them.

There are some categories I just don’t care about, but even those have value. Everyone should be resepected for their contribution to films.

But some categories should be added as time goes on. As animated features were taken more seriously, a category was added to honour them. So why not other categories?
