Thor 2 has a new director taking over for director Patty Jenkins who decided to have “creative differences” and then walk away from this whole ‘Thor’ business. Surely, it’s her loss and quite possibly our gain as we have a new director taking over the job and his name is Alan Taylor. 
Ender’s game has steadily built traction since our last report on the project with director Gavin Hood working hard on the early stages of production for this film and managing to secure a pretty tight cast for the film. 
There’s a lot of anticipation and excitement for the Wachowski’s upcoming film Cloud Atlas. It’s a highly ambitious project and the 2nd directorial projects for the post-Matrix Wachowski’s and it’s one in which they share directorial duties with Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run). Bradley Cooper is the devil… in the upcoming movie Paradise Lost. Well, he will be once they re-evaluate the budget for the film. The movie is scheduled to begin early next year but it seems that some budget concerns have forced Legenday Pictures to take another look at what’s going on and see if there’s any legroom to trim the $120 million dollar budget. 
Happy Friday everybody! It’s been 17 years since the original Friday was released and became an almost instant cult classic. It’s almost impossible to specify what about that movie caused so much appeal but it’d been clear that the sequels to the film, while entertaining, were missing something. According to the folks at 
Tom Cruise is doing his press rounds to promote Mission Impossible as the film opened in most locations yesterday, but somehow not in any IMAX in the NYC area, and while speaking with MTV he was asked about Top Gun 2 and was surprisingly forthright on the subject. 
The remake wheels are spinning again over at Sony and this time the 
Clash of the Titans came and went a while back but today we’re getting a fist look at the Sam Worthington starring sequel titled “Wrath of the Titans” courtesy of the fine folks over at Greek tyrant in his role as Perseus.
