Very enjoyable and entertaining, 18 January 2002
9/10
Author: peggy_03037 (peggy_03037@yahoo.com) from Missouri

This movie is very well acted and is throughly enjoyable. It is an interesting comment on the thoroughbred industry and was well acted and very convincing. I wish it would come out on video as I would love to own it.

Trivia: There are 2 entries in the trivia list - like these:
  • Cameo: [When Maude and Dancy are first out shopping for horses] right after he tells her that he wants her to know that he can be trusted, there is a shot of an older man standing next to a horse and it's handler and gesturing. That's Larry Pizer, the D.P.
  • Cameo: Producer Arthur Fellows is seen in two shots as the horses head though a tunnel on the way to the track for the Derby. He's the balding man with glasses holding a program on the right of both the long shot and medium shots in that scene.
