I got to see Rattle Basket last week when it screened at the Wine Country Film Festival in Napa. We really were not planning on going, but it was Saturday afternoon and me and my girlfriend thought what the hell. We had seen a couple screenings during the previous years festival.

The movie was truly unique. A pleasure to watch. I think that describes it the best. The acting was just spot on and the entire audience loved it. Everyone around us was way into it, including us. You don't see interesting, smart, provocative and honest movies everyday. The movie had it all, drama and comedy.

I am not going to sit here and write a review of the film. I was checking out the page and saw that no one had commented on it yet. I just wanted to let people know that this is something worth searching out to see.

• On the very first day of shooting, one of the lead actresses dropped out of the film, leading to a quick re-cast and requiring the first week's shooting schedule to be completely rearranged.
• Six of the seven producers are in the movie. One has a lead, one a cameo, and the other four played extras at some point in the film.
• 98% of the music in the film was written and performed by up and coming local artists and bands in the Hollywood/Los Angeles area.
