Jeremiah awakens in a river with amnesia, a gun shot wound, a 9mm, and a journal full of names. With the help of a suicidal psychologist, Jeremiah searches for his lost identity. Upon finding a series of cryptic clues, given in part by the bipolar Jerrett, Jeremiah comes to believe that he was a killer. This realization causes him to abandon the search for his identity and to create a new one. And he does this by joining a religious group with his strange new friend, Matthew. "This story fuses together a lot of topics that I have personally struggled with in my life," says Richards, "Issues like religion, death, and a feeling of being lost in the surrounding world."
